Anouk & Co was engaged to design a unique interior for this café and bakery, located in Surfers Paradise. To develop the interior design concept, our design team researched and were inspired by European bakeries and cafes.

We located the counter at the entrance to create an inviting space. Feature ceilings of custom timber rolling pins added a quirky element. Behind the counter, Anouk & Co designed a display for baked goods and the wall lined with baguettes inspired by Parisian café bakeries. Banquette seating upholstered in vegan leather sits under a cloth canopy creates a sense of comfort. Juxtaposed with neon lighting by way of a chef’s hat, we created a space to return to often and stay a while.
