Anouk & Co was engaged to design HMIA's new head office at 1 Castlereagh Street, Sydney.

HMIA, providing heavy motor insurance wanted to create a workplace that fostered innovation and connection. The kitchen and breakout space was designed to encourage collaboration and be utilised as a dynamic space.

The colour palette and materials used encompass and reflect HMIA’s branding and the space has a mature sensibility whilst retaining playfulness. This playfulness was further expressed with pops of teals and blues throughout and as a nod to HMIA’s customers a custom designed panel.

Wood and polished concrete were selected for integrity and sustainability, reducing embedded carbon whilst balancing strength with warmth.
